ICEX Servicing Servers with Complete Security
As an ITAD/STARR service provider, Data Security is extremely important to us and our clients, beyond simply having to remain compliant. We understand how much data can be infiltrated due to incorrect erasure on hard drives and servers. This is why we adhere to internationally accredited standards, such as the UK Government’s HMG Infosec 5 Higher Standard.
Alongside data security, we also believe it is so important to reduce the amount of waste and pollutants - in all industries. This is why we use data erasure software that is powerful enough to keep to the highest security standards that allow a hard drive or server to be reused, with complete security. The alternative is to shred the hard drive or server and this is far, far worse for sustainability!
Our vision for ICEX GROUP is to be the most sustainable IT Asset Partner for organisations. We’re striving to make a better world. A world where no technology assets ever get wasted and everyone has access to affordable technology. A world where technology assets are reused as much as possible, and when new assets are needed, they’re always sustainable. Only when they’ve reached the end of their life, and as a last resort, do they get recycled. And absolutely nothing goes to landfill.
In 2023, we processed 2,202 Servers with full compliance to NCSC standards.
We securely revived and reused 65.3% of them.
34.7% were recycled.
0% went to landfill.
We are looking to increase the number of servers we can save from going to landfill and get back to being used, thus helping people and organisations.
