Environmental Policy.
Please find below an overview of ICEX GROUP’s Environmental Policy, which outlines our commitment and responsibility to our Clients, Customers and the Environment.
ICEX GROUP will at all times:
· Act in a responsible and committed way to both our clients and the environment; staff and management are working as one team to achieve our goals
· Responsibly recycle and manage clients’ outgoing assets to ensure minimum impact on the environment, working to continually improve these procedures
· Strive to achieve a policy of reuse not recycling, dispersal not destruction.
· Hold regular review meetings on all appropriate environmental legislation and regulations. These reviews also cover internal procedures. Our aim is to minimise waste and maximise energy efficiency. The minutes of these meetings are communicated as appropriate to all employees to ensure 100% compliance.
· Hold a Waste Management Permit No TP3094NX/V002.
· Be a Registered Waste Carrier. Registration Number CBDU143218. We can therefore provide Waste Transfer Notes for any collection of equipment that is collected for destruction.
· Work closely with our waste partners for responsible disposal/recycling of specific products that are beyond economical repair. Our emphasis for the utilisation of this method is, as little as possible.
· Take into consideration the importance of efficient transport and the possible effects on the environment through pollution. We operate an efficient logistics strategy with effective traffic management and carbon off-setting.
· Expect all suppliers / vendors wherever possible to operate to similar environmental standards. When appointing a supplier, ICEX’s first consideration is the individual company’s commitment to effective and efficient environmental management. Holding ISO 14001 certification is a reflection of this commitment and companies with this standard are given priority when being considered by ICEX.
· Be able to work together with Clients to improve awareness and reduce their own impact on the environment.
· Regularly attend appropriate environmental meetings to ensure we are kept up to date with any developments relating to environmental legislation.
· Be committed, remaining vigilant and informed of all forthcoming legislation, controlling irresponsible disposals and to correctly recycle for the good of all.
· Be a committed and focused team of people working with and for our clients, to achieve only the best.
